… and after making the mistake of going to Petsmart for cat food, came home with a playmate for Dummy:
As she’s a Terrier mix, she will definitely keep Dummy busy; all he wants is for Lucy to play with him, but Lucy is not interested in tearing around the backyard after a barking nincompoop. So far, this little imp is just the ticket, though being a 3-month old, she needs more naps than Dummy does, since he is the eternal puppy. Hopefully this dog grows into her back legs a bit and gets to be twice this size – otherwise, she’s going to get stepped on a LOT. Not that Lucy cares, because she has decided not to like her, for now. Bean & Monkey aren’t too impressed, either – but they are cats, which rhymes with rats, and kinda what terriers are all about 🙂
In stitching news, there’s not a lot this week, what with all the running around and such getting ready for school. I did keep on with Witches Wheel all week, and didn’t get as much done as I’d hoped – I really wanted to have the stitching nearly done, so I could get it beaded early this week, but it looks like I’ll be stitching still most of this week, and hopefully beading by the weekend:
That’s the stitching for the week; I didn’t go to IHOP on Wednesday, since that was the only night the kid didn’t have practice, so we could go run a couple of last-minute errands. I do plan to go this week, though.Hopefully this time next week, I’ll have a finish to show you 🙂 Happy Stitching this week!
And lastly, THIS:
Witches Wheel is moving along! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish this week!
What about Gidget for the new girl?
Witches Wheel is looking great. Really pretty on that fabric. 🙂
Gorgeous little pup! Great progress on WW and you lucky, lucky thing for being able to watch Outlander! Yum, yum!
Yeah, I’ve watched Ep. 1 about 7 times now 🙂 Which is only a couple times more than I’ve read the first 3 books 🙂
Love the witches…..AND the fabulous new puppy!!!
